Meet our Amazing Providers

Julia Usher, PA-C

Julia moved from Pennsylvania to East Texas in 2016 with her parents and 2 sisters. Julia graduated with her bachelor’s degree from UT Tyler in 2020. She spent about five years working as a patient care technician in the float pool at Good Shepherd. Julia completed her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Stephens College in Columbia, MO, graduating in December 2025. She completed most of her clinical rotations in the East Texas area. She fell in love with pediatrics during her rotation at a small pediatric clinic in Huntsville, AL.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, going thrift shopping with her sister and mom, and bowling. Julia also enjoys traveling, especially cruising to the Caribbean! She married her husband, Owen, in 2023. They have 2 dogs and a rabbit.

Julia is very excited to have begun her career in pediatrics and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the 1st Choice Pediatrics community. Julia is also thankful to the families for allowing her to participate in the care of their children and is excited to grow along with them!
